The young horses behaved beautifully at their first affiliated competition on Sunday where Zorpari ridden by Holly was 1st with 74.5% and Socialiser was 2nd with 71.5% ridden by myself. Socialiser (Sammy) was also 3rd in the Derby House Young Dressage Horse of the Year qualifier and this has qualified him for the finals on 15th July at Badminton. We were thrilled that they remained focused on their jobs despite many distractions around them. Socialiser (Sammy) brought his whole family and friends to come and cheer him on at his first competition. Kate and Denise his owners proudly gave him lots of polos - Zorpari (Zac) was not to be outdone and Holly finished off the box of sugar lumps for him!

We are now busy preparing for the NPS Top Spec Dressage Finals at Addington next Sunday where Ginny Duncan with ride her Highland Pony in the Preliminary and Novice Finals and Holly with ride Townend Hamish II for Denise Bumford in the same competitions. No pressure girls!! They have been busy practising!!
